RIP IKE

And yet we have lost another family member, Ike passed away a few weeks ago, he was the 13. It came very quickly that he stopped eating and was having difficulty breathing. Took him to the vet knowing in my heart he wasn't coming home. My tripawd boxer was deeply moarning him, so I found her a companion last week, my friend Muck had a older boxer in need of a new home, so Lucky has joined our family of critters, all 105lb. of him, that's big for a boxer. I rode the Pan into the work last week and when I got there I noticed one of the springs on the front end looked sprung, so she got all new springs and a new front shock, they had never been replaced since I have owned her. Waiting on a new set of clutch plates right now. I'm on the back side of 60,000 on the FLHX, 66,000+, he's still running strong. I sure like the new FLHX SE, but don't have the funds to buy one, plus I would probably have to do motor work to it to make it run as good as Hammer. The HELLKATS are having a Memorial Weekend ride in memory of Skat and Cody, it will be posted on events later today and it's for Women Bikers only. I say this because we actually had a guy in drag try and pass himself off to us as a girl and couldn't understand why he wasn't accepted. Our new support gear up, check it out. www.hellkatsmc.com  Have a great week, CG

RIP IKE

PLEASE READ

I didn't write this, but I surely could have. I'm more terrified for all of us after the Health Care bill was passed last night. Some you just sit back and do nothing, your not paying attention. This bill will now tax any small bussiness owner .60 on every dollar they make over $250,000.00.  If you own a small bussiness and you employ two or three people, $250,000.00 isn't a lot of income, think about it. So they will now have to give .60 of every dollar after $250,000.00 to the Government so that all the illegals can have free health care. I didn't vote for Bush either, but I had a wakeup call as to what the Democrats are all about and I will NEVER, EVER vote for a DEMOCRAT again and this is coming from a family who has lost two jobs over the past 25 years to the American auto industry. In the time when I am supposed to be enjoying retirement with my husband, I am now forced to work for the next 15 years. I am fortunate to have a job and it's a job I like, but it wasn't supposed to be like this. Think hard, watch Fox News before you vote next time. They speak the TRUTH. I will be in Minneapolis this coming weekend at the Donnie Smith bike Show. Stop by the Minnesota HA booth, that's where you'll find me, CG

I'm 63 Except for one semester in college when jobs were scarce and a six-month period when I was between jobs, but job-hunting every day, I've worked, hard, since I was 18. Despite some health challenges, I still put in 50-hour weeks, and haven't called in sick in seven or eight years. I make a good salary, but I didn't inherit my job or my income, and I worked to get where I am. Given the economy, there's no retirement in sight, and I'm tired. Very tired.

I'm tired of being told that I have to "spread the wealth" to people who don't have my work ethic. I'm tired of being told the government will take the money I earned, by force if necessary, and give it to people too lazy to earn it.

I'm tired of being told that I have to pay more taxes to "keep people in their homes."  Sure, if they lost their jobs or got sick, I'm willing to help. But if they bought McMansions at three times the price of our paid-off, $250,000 condo, on one-third of my salary, then let the left-wing Congress-critters who passed F ann ie and Freddie and the Community Reinvestment Act that created the bubble help them with their own money.

I'm tired of being told how bad  America  is by left-wing millionaires like Michael Moore, George Soros and Hollywood Entertainers who live in luxury because of the opportunities  America  offers. In thirty years, if they get their way, the United States  will have the economy of  Zimbabwe , the freedom of the press of  China , the crime and violence of  Mexico , the tolerance for Christian people of  Iran , and the freedom of speech of  Venezuela .

I'm tired of being told that Islam is a "Religion of Peace," when every day I can read dozens of stories of Muslim men killing their sisters, wives and daughters for their family "honor"; of Muslims rioting over some slight offense; of Muslims murdering Christian and Jews because they aren't "believers"; of Muslims burning schools for girls; of Muslims stoning teenage rape victims to death for "adultery"; of Muslims mutilating the genitals of little girls; all in the name of Allah, because the Qur'an and Shari'a law tells them to.

I'm tired of being told that "race doesn't matter" in the post-racial world of Obama, when it's all that matters in affirmative action jobs, lower college admission and graduation standards for minorities (harming them the most), government contract set-asides, tolerance for the ghetto culture of violence and fatherless children that hurts minorities more than anyone, and in the appointment of U.S. Senators from Illinois.

I think it's very cool that we have a black president and that a black child is doing her homework at the desk where Lincoln  wrote the Emancipation Proclamation. I just wish the black president was Condi Rice, or someone who believes more in freedom and the individual and less arrogantly of an all-knowing government.

I'm tired of a news media that thinks Bush's fundraising and inaugural expenses were obscene, but that think Obama's, at triple the cost, were wonderful; that thinks Bush exercising daily was a waste of presidential time, but Obama exercising is a great example for the public to control weight and stress; that picked over every line of Bush's military records, but never demanded that Kerry release his; that slammed Palin, with two years as governor, for being too inexperienced for VP, but touted Obama with three years as senator as potentially the best president ever. Wonder why people are dropping their subscriptions or switching to Fox News?  Get a clue. I didn't vote for Bush in 2000, but the media and Kerry drove me to his camp in 2004.

I'm tired of being told that out of "tolerance for other cultures" we must let  Saudi Arabia  use our oil money to fund mosques and madrassa Islamic schools to preach hate in  America , while no American group is allowed to fund a church, synagogue or religious school in  Saudi Arabia  to teach love and tolerance.

I'm tired of being told I must lower my living standard to fight global warming, which no one is allowed to debate. My wife and I live in a two-bedroom apartment and carpool together five miles to our jobs.. We also own a  three-bedroom condo where our daughter and granddaughter live. Our carbon footprint is about 5% of Al Gore's, and if you're greener than Gore, you're green enough.

I'm tired of being told that drug addicts have a disease, and I must help support and treat them, and pay for the damage they do. Did a giant germ rush out of a dark alley, grab them, and stuff white powder up their noses while they tried to fight it off? I don't think Gay people choose to be Gay, but I damn sure think druggies chose to take drugs. And I'm tired of harassment from cool people treating me like a freak when I tell them I never tried marijuana.

I'm tired of illegal aliens being called "undocumented workers," especially the ones who aren't working, but are living on welfare or crime. What's next?  Calling drug dealers, "Undocumented Pharmacists"?  And, no,  I'm not against Hispanics. Most of them are Catholic, and it's been a few hundred years since Catholics wanted to kill me for my religion.  I'm willing to fast track for citizenship any Hispanic person, who can speak English, doesn't have a criminal record and who is self-supporting without family on welfare, or who serves honorably for three years in our military.... Those are the citizens we need.

I'm tired of latte liberals and journalists, who would never wear the uniform of the Republic themselves, or let their entitlement-handicapped kids near a recruiting station, trashing our military. They and their kids can sit at home, never having to make split-second decisions under life and death circumstances, and bad mouth better people than themselves. Do bad things happen in war?  You bet. Do our troops sometimes misbehave?  Sure. Does this compare with the atrocities that were the policy of our enemies for the last fifty years and still are?  Not even close.  So here's the deal. I'll let myself be subjected to all the humiliation and abuse that was heaped on terrorists at Abu Ghraib or Gitmo, and the critics can let themselves be subject to captivity by the Muslims, who tortured and beheaded Daniel Pearl in Pakistan, or the Muslims who tortured and murdered Marine Lt. Col. William Higgins in Lebanon, or the Muslims who ran the blood-spattered Al Qaeda torture rooms our troops found in Iraq, or the Muslims who cut off the heads of schoolgirls in Indonesia, because the girls were Christian. Then we'll compare notes. British and American soldiers are the only troops in history that civilians came to for help and handouts, instead of hiding from in fear.

I'm tired of people telling me that their party has a corner on virtue and the other party has a corner on corruption. Read the papers; bums are bipartisan. And I'm tired of people telling me we need bipartisanship. I live in  Illinois , where the "Illinois Combine" of Democrats has worked to loot the public for years. Not to mention the tax cheats in Obama's cabinet.

I'm tired of hearing wealthy athletes, entertainers and politicians of both parties talking about innocent mistakes, stupid mistakes or youthful mistakes, when we all know they think their only mistake was getting caught. I'm tired of people with a sense of entitlement, rich or poor.

Speaking of poor, I'm tired of hearing people with air-conditioned homes, color TVs and two cars called poor. The majority of Americans didn't have that in 1970, but we didn't know we were "poor." The poverty pimps have to keep changing the definition of poor to keep the dollars flowing.

I'm real tired of people who don't take responsibility for their lives and actions. I'm tired of hearing them blame the government, or discrimination or big-whatever for their problems.

Yes, I'm damn tired. But I'm also glad to be 63. Because, mostly, I'm not going to have to see the world these people are making. I'm just sorry for my granddaughter.

Robert  A. Hall is a Marine  Vietnam  veteran who served five terms in the  Massachusetts   State  Senate.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2010!!!

Well another year has come and gone, this one really flew by. I guess it's just part of life and getting older as we loose friends and family and of course our beloved pets. I didn't make my goal in riding miles, which really, I have never had a goal, it just happens. But with the seven day work schedule, it has not givin me the freedom that I have been so fortunate to have over the years to just take off when ever I wanted to and ride. I am thankfull that I have a job and one that fit's me purrfectly. We are closed until January 2nd, so I have had some much needed time off. I'm headed to Minneapolis in the morning for a few days to spend New Years with my HELLKAT Sisters up there. I will be back next year and hopefully I will find the time to update this site. As for the inquiries, no I'm not on facebook. I can't find the time to update here, so I surely don't have time to socialize there. When I got online the other day, under my private screen name I had over 300 unread emails alone. Happy New Year!CG

HOLIDAY SEASON

I lost my little Isabella two week's ago. She wasn't doing real well, has had lot's of problems over the years with skin allergies, thyroid problems, arthritis, but she was my long time rodeo companion, traveled across the country and back with me. I had given her a bath in the morning because I was going to take her to the vet late afternoon. I let her outside and she walked around the shrubs and I only turned my back for a second and she had walked back into the mudroom and was laying on the rug breathing real heavy. I picked her up and she had a  heart attack right there in my arms and died within one minute. I guess it was God's way of sparing me the grief of possibly having to make the decision later on that day as whether or not it was time to put her down.

Work has slowed down quite a bit. I'm finally getting a life back, we're closed on Sun and Mon for the winter months. I usually spend Sunday sleeping and I'm working out again with Sensei on Monday mornings, man am I out of shape. Spent Helloween in Minnesota with my Hellkat Sisters and I will be heading up that that way over the Christmas/New Year Holiday period. Our shop is closed during that time, so I'll have some time off.

My daughter came over for Thanksgiving, and we had the usual Turkey dinner, just the three of us and all the critter's.

Pretty much have put Cruella up for the winter. haven't got much riding in this year, I'll be lucky to turn 15,000 before the year is over. I ride to work every day, but that's only a 52 mile roundtrip. If I know it's going to be a shitty day, than I'll take my truck on that particular day to get supplies whie I'm in town. Hammer is running real good, just about 65,000 mile on him now. I was looking up some stuff for Sturgis for this next year and I browsed at some of the pictures and didn't have to look far to find this one, it was a thumbnail leading to a whole page of pictures.

Yup, I'm wearing Red & White striped socks with below the knee cropped jeans, my version of shorts on a bike, which I seldom do. Already making plans for this next year and it is a week later this year being the 70th and all, so don't screw up thinking that it's the first week. You can get all the info at www.sturgis.com I wish you all a Merry Christmas in case I don't get a chance to get back here before that(and it's OK to say MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!) Later, CG

LABOR DAY
I had a nice Labor Day weekend, put about 1600 on the Streetglide. I got off my usual path that I run up to MN and took some farm roads up. No set roads, just kept heading north. Met up with a couple of my sister's in Rochester. On Saturday we rode up to a party near Forbes, MN. This had to be the best weather I have ever encountered over Labor Day in MN. I stayed until Tuesday morning. Then back to work this week. Next road trip will be in October, until then, just some local stuff. Have a Great week, CG

IT'S BEEN SIX MONTHS..........

So it's not like I haven't wanted to update this place like I used to do, but I haven't had time for much of anything these days. I'm working 6-7 days a week, 10+ hrs a day. I don't even get to see my horses anymore, they're in the barn when I leave in the morning and the same when I get home at night. I made it to my Karate Banquet and Tournament back in June and got my year end award in Sparring only since I didn't do much competeing this past year. The tournament itself didn't go well for me as I screwed up my Kata and yes.....got DQ'd in my first round of sparring, this time for excessive contact and unsportsmanlike behavior, whatever that means. We lost the dojo where I trained at, but I do get to go workout if  I can find time in the morning before work at a gym. I very seldom get to train with my sensei, hopefully we will be closing the shop on Sunday and Mondays soon. I get to ride to work everyday, but that's just a big tease, I've only put 10,000 miles on my bikes so far this year. Hammer turned 60,000 this month. I was able to ride to MN over Memorial day and I went to Sturgis and had the best ride out there I have had in years. Partly do to the fact that I was so needing to get away from work and the weather was good except for the hail storm in Sturgis. I got two dents in Hammer's front fender. I've been riding the Pan to work quite a bit, she's running good as ever. I have my one year in at the shop this Wednesday and I get 10 days paid vacation that I have to use before the end of the year, so I have a long Labor Day weekend planned and lot's of riding to do. I will try and stay current here. Thanks for your letter's of concern, but I'm fine, just don't feel much like sitting at a computer if I have two hours of free time when I get home before I have to go to bed. I posted some pics below, 4th of July, one from the banquet and one of me and Big Schwag and then some from Sturgis. Hope your all doing well, CG

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!!

Celebrated the big 50 two week's ago, I sure don't feel like I thought 50 was going to feel like. Yeah, my joints and bones ache, but I haven't led the normal lifestyle of most women either. So for all you youngster's out there, it's not so bad, in fact life gets so much better. I get teased at work because I'm always eating healthy and the only meat I eat there is canned chicken, so they got me a 3lb.8oz can of chicken breast for my birthday. Not sure why we have mouths open and tongues out, I think it may have had something to do with fresh strawberry daiquiri's.

I thought Spring was here last week, but not sure today, turned a little cold again, 70's last week, back in the 40's for highs and maybe some more snow this week. The days are getting longer as it is no longer dark by 5:00PM. Working has really put a big stop to my road trips. I never took the freedom for granted because I have always worked, but yet I was able to create my own schedule. I get up at 6:00 and get home around 8:00 which makes for a long day. Next month the shop will be open seven days a week, luckily I will be on a rotation and will have Sundays and Mondays off.

I rode in yesterday morning and when I got off my bike I was just at the right angle to notice my front rocker box was leaking on Hammer. I took the extended warranty and it has paid for itself more than once. Got it up on the lift and noticed that back cylinder was also starting to leak, so I got approval to get both cylinders done and going to have new valve seals as well. I checked my records and there is over 40,000 since the Big Bore was done, so it's time.

Been getting myself back into shape for a few tournaments this year, first one being in April. It doesn't take long to loose your endurance especially between Thanksgiving and New Years. I've got myself back up to five rounds in the ring. I have a makeup session in the morning, not really what I wanted to do on my morning off, but.....I accidentally set off my fire extinguisher behind my truck seat and I inhaled all that dry chemical stuff this past week right before my workout. Not sure what is in that stuff, but I couldn't get any air during my workout, so we cut it short.

Don't have to much planned the next few week's other than the Donnie Smith Bike show in Minneapolis at the end of March. I so need a road trip on my bike. Have a great week, CG

I'M BACK
What used to be weekly postings here are turning into monthly if I can find time to do that. Iget up at 6:00 and get home between 7-10:00pm, depends on if I make it to go work out or stop for groceries. I hauled Cruella into the shop a few week's ago so that I could work on her during my lunch break. She got a new front tire, neck bearings and new risers. I also had to adjust her pushrods, reset the timing, new points and plugs and I have been trying to clean her up a bit the past two days so I can bring her home Friday. I've had a cold for the past week, so I have been driving the truck. I'll ride Hammer in Friday and ride her home on my lunch break. I'll try and post here a little more than I have, just by the time I get home and get a chance to finally sit down, it's time for bed. I'll snap a pic or two of Cruella tomorrow after I get her all shined up. Have a great week, CG

WHERE I'VE BEEN

Since I started working a fulltime job, I haven't had time for much social activity and zero time to get on the internet. I have also made two trip's to Minnestota since I was here last the first to visit a sick friend, the last to go to his  funeral. Just wanted to dro aline and say thank's for all the letter's inquiring as to my well being, I'm fine, just been busy. Please read the following before you go vote Tuesday. CG

This isn’t a game! It is our Nation the liberals are selling out.
I'm voting Democrat because English has no place being the official
language in America .

I'm voting Democrat because I'd rather pay $4 for a gallon of gas than
allow drilling for oil off the coasts of America , and in Alaska .

I'm voting Democrat because I think the government will do a better job of
spending my money than I could.

I'm voting Democrat because when we pull out of Afghanistan and Iraq , I
know the Islamic terrorists will stop trying to kill us because they'll
think we're a good and decent country.

I'm voting Democrat because I believe people who can't tell us if it
will rain in two or three days can now tell us the polar ice caps will disappear
in ten years if I don't start riding a bicycle, build a windmill or inflate
my tires to proper levels.

I'm voting Democrat because it's alright to kill millions of babies as
long as we keep violent, convicted murderers on death row alive or loose on the
street.

I'm voting Democrat because I believe businesses in America should not be
allowed to make profits. Businesses should just break even and give the rest to
the government so politicians and bureaucrats can redistribute the money the way
they think it should be redistributed.

I'm voting Democrat because I believe guns, and not the people misusing
them, are the cause of crimes and killings.

I'm voting Democrat because when someone with a weapon threatens my family
or me, I know the government can respond faster through a call to 911 than I can
with a gun in my hand.

I'm voting Democrat because oil companies' 5% profit on a gallon of gas
are obscene, but government taxes of 18% on the same gallon of gas are just
fine. In fact, they should impose a 'Windfall Profits' tax on the Oil
Companies to prevent this 'gouging'. After all, the Taxpayers can afford
it !!

I'm voting Democrat because I believe three or four elitist liberals should
rewrite the Constitution every few months to suit some fringe element that could
never get their agenda past voters.

I'm voting Democrat because illegal aliens are not criminals, are not
sucking up resources through government aid, hospital services, education, or
social services, but are just people trying to make a better life by coming to
America illegally. We can't blame them for that, can we?

I'm voting Democrat because now I can now marry whatever I want, so
I've decided to marry my horse.

Im voting Democrat because I am too stupid to run my own 'Life'. I need
the government's guidance to make it all worthwhile, and re-distribute my
excesses to the 'non-working' sponges.

It makes you wonder why anyone would ever vote Republican, doesn't it?

STURGIS
Finally had a few minute's to post here, haven't had but one day off since I got back from Sturgis. I wasn't home one day and my hay guy cut and had to go get a couple loads for the winter. Then it was non stop mowing some really wet grass, the rain has been good here though for the hay this year, last year there was none. As for Sturgis, I took a little detour and ran up to WI and met up there with my Sis and spent the night at her cabin property. The next day we had a short ride of 600 miles to Mitchell and did the short leg the next morning. We were about 10 miles East of Rapid City and I looked down and my shifter linkage was laying on top of my boot. Got off the next exit and coasted to a stop and saw that the little ball on the front of the shifter rod had worn out, so I got some electrical tape out and taped it together and we rode to Rapid to the dealer. I have never been in that place, it was huge and full of people. I made my way through the Hamster maze trying to get to the parts and some guy directed me to go park out in the dirt field and walk and I thought there had to be a shorter route. So I pulled around the back where the service was, about 40 bikes in lline and I told the guy my bike is under warranty but......can I please park here and run in and get what I need and fix it myself and he was thrilled to death that I wasn't wanting service. So we parked the bikes, got the part, it was off and on in 10 minutes and we were out of there. The crowd was really down this year, I think mostly due to the economy and the Anniversary in Milwaukee that's coming up. I think this was the best weather ever that I can remember, no rain and about a cool 80 during the day with zero humidity. We actually got in town a day earlier than we had planned when I found out that John McCain was going to be at the Buffalo Chip on the same day as Kellie Pickler and Kid Rock. We got there early and stood in line and were front row and I can't remember the last time I was so excited about seeing someone. There was nothing more fulfilling than seeing thousands of bikers cheering and reving their bikes for Senator McCain. I got some really good picture's, got a really good laugh from both Cindy and John and when they saw my T-shirt and that made my day. He will be in the St. Louis area and the tickets are free on August 31st, just go to www.johnmccain.com and click on his events and you can get your tickets there. There should be some picture's posted on my pics page. I also went back to working a real job which I haven't done in so many years and I have no idea how I'm going to be able to keep up with everything, but I'll work it out. I went in to get oil for my bike when I got home back from sturgis and they asked me when I would come to work for them and I jokingly  said Tuesday and pretty much was hired on the spot, I started on Tuesday in the service dept of one of the local HD shops. So that's why it has taken me so long to post here, haven't had time trying take care of the critter's, karate and then going to work for 10 hours a day, there isn't much time for anything. But so far I'm liking it and nothing more I would like to do is be around horse's or bike's when it comes to work. Have a great weekend, CG

THE REAL STORY FROM A SOLDIER

Below is an actual letter from a friend that was forwarded to me to give you a soldier's point of view on OBOMBA's recent publicity tour

I don't know each of your personal political convictions, and apologize if anyone finds this offensive.  I thought it was important enough to share.  This is Jeff's first hand view of Senator Obama.

Tiffany

---------- Forwarded Message ----------
Hello everyone,

As you know I am not a very political person. I just wanted to pass along that Senator Obama came to Bagram Afghanistan for about an hour on his visit to 'The War Zone'. I wanted to share with you what happened.
He got off the plane and got into a bullet proof vehicle, got to the area to meet with the Major General (2 Star) who is the commander here at Bagram.

As the Soldiers were lined up to shake his hand he blew them off and didn't say a word as he went into the conference room to meet the General. As he finished, the vehicles took him to the ClamShell (pretty much a big top tent that military personnel can play basketball or work out in with weights) so he could take his publicity pictures playing basketball. He again shunned the opportunity to talk to Soldiers to thank them for their service.

So really he was just here to make a showing for the American's back home that he is their candidate for President. I think that if you are going to make an effort to come all the way over here you would thank those that are providing the freedom that they are providing for you.

I swear we got more thanks from the NBA Basketball Players or the Dallas Cowboy Cheer leaders than from one of the Senators, who wants to be the President of the United States. I just don't understand how anyone would want him to be our Commander-and-Chief. It was almost that he was scared to be around those that provide the freedom for him and our great country.

If this is blunt and to the point I am sorry but I wanted you all to know what kind of caliber of person he really is. What you see in the news is all fake.

In service,

CPT Jeffrey S. Porter

Battle Captain
TF Wasatch
American Soldier

LOS ANGELES

Still feeling the exhaustion from this past week in CA. I went for a tournament and got time to spend with somes friends out there too. The tournament turned out to be a flop, not at all what we had invisioned it to be, in fact, we were disapointed to say the least. It was 2nd place down the line for my Sensei, Kim and myself in kata and Kim took 1st in underbelt sparring. They imposed these RULES while we were there, no groin contact, no excessive contact, no blood, no this, no that...........There was only two girls for me to fight with and they gave me the bye for the first fight, so I would fight the winner of that fight. Well they barely got going and the center judge started imposing excessive calls on the one girl which were not excessive at all, next thing you know the other girl is going down to the ground, looked like she fainted, it was weird, but the other girl got DQ'd, the winner was on the ground and I had no one to fight. So I called on my Student Kim to do an exhibition fight with their permission and they said yes since she was my student. We decided we would show them how this was supposed to be done and before you know it the ref stops the fight, tells us to keep it under control and I'm like, this is my student, believe me, she can take the punishment as well as dish it out. I played with her a bit, but don't get me wrong, she can definitely pull her own.We got a big round of applause for entertaining the crowd. Lot's of wasted money going there, but I spent a few days with my friend and he took me sight seeing around the LA area, so it was more like vacation than a tournament for me. I gave my medals to the little girl at the home where he lives. Ok, for all you John McCain Supporters, Kellie Pickler and Kid Rock Fans, they will all be at the Buffalo Chip on the same day, Monday, August 4th, I will be there, my one oportunity to hear him speak. Please take a moment and watch this video link below. Have a great week, CG

These pic's were taken during the briefing of the rules, you can see the "U GOTTA BE KIDDIN" look on our faces when they were telling us what the contestants would not be allowed to do during the sparring

FREEDOM RALLY JULY 4TH

I left out of here on Thursday July 3rd and rode up to WI just past Madison where I met up with Powder at her cabin. Of course, it was raining when I left, rode 200 of the 400 in the rain, but by the time I got there, the sky had cleared and it cool and the sun was shining. We took a walk down to the lake and had dinner and called it an early night. Got up around 6:45AM, after coffee and a shower we were on our way to Albert Lea,MN to meet Red. Red's riding an old shovel known as PIG BITCH and BITCH she is and she choose July 4th to show her Bitch self off. Started the morning with Red telling us that the coil had come off, broken bolt and would be late. We slowed our pace and got to the Truckstop an hour later than scheduled, got a call from RED and now there was a loose wire from the coil that had to be fixed, meet you down the road. We detoured our original route to meet up with her and finally they putted in. I'm not even going to go there as to PIG BITCH'S behavior the rest of the weekend, it's a shovel, do the math. We got to Algona later than expected and still found a pretty good place to pitch our tent's. Friday night Jackyl played and Saturday it was Joe Diffie. I have to give a huge thumbs up to Iowa ABATE, they sure know how to put on an event top notch. They had trucks coming through all day cleaning the outhouses, very clean shower house, cheap cold beer and food available 24hrs. This is the old Humboldt Rally in case you were wondering, it will be an annual event from now on for me. Saturday we went on a poker run 100% payback and I came in third and took home $175.00 cash. Since it was a fun run put on by the local bars, I kept it instead of donating back like most events we go to. That paid for my gas (can you believe I'm saying that?). We also stopped by the Grotto of Redemption which was on the poker run route,I'm thinking it was in West Bend, IA, all made of stone, pretty cool to walk through it and check out the artwork. We hung out Saturday night and watched Joe Diffie and headed back to camp around midnight. I made camp coffee every day and I guess you could call it getting old, but...we were up both mornings by 7:00am, not hung over and ready to go, feeling the pain of our neighbor's around us and being that the coffee was way up on the hill at the concession's, we were glad to share. You know, been there, done that to many time's, and waking up in a campgound without a hangover was a first for me, and it felt good. I drank a couple beer's, but I like the taste of beer, not the effect, so by midnight, I was back to Soda. We said our goodbyes while Red wrenched on PIG BITCH AGAIN and Powder and I rode East together as far as Cedar Rapids and we parted ways. Had a great weekend. I'm going to Los Angeles on Thursday and will be back after next weekend. Have a Great Week, CG

"IRAN IS A TINY COUNTRY, NOT A SERIOUS THREAT"

Famous "WORDS" just "WORDS" from some community organizer in a suit named BARACK HUSSIEN OBAMA who somehow is now the Democratic Nominee for the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!!  The picture above is the test missles that Iran fired off a couple days ago that are capable of wiping out Israel and US Bases. But according to Obomba, Iran isn't a serious threat, just a tiny country. MY GOD, would you please wake up and put down the koolaid, grab yourself a beer and a shot of Whiskey instead and STOP listening to the left and all their Bullshit on this guy. He doesn't have a CLUE as to what is going on in this world, how the HELL do you expect him to be our LEADER? Iran Leaders have mocked him, of course they didn't name him specifically, but they said "THEY don't think we are a threat" they we're quoting Obomba. YOU ARE EMBARASSMENT TO THE USA IF YOU DON'T SPEAK SPANISH, FRENCH, GERMAN OR ANOTHER FOREIGN LANGUAGE ACCORDING TO BARACK HUSSEIN OBOMBMA! English is the UNIVERSAL  language and what we speak here, go back to Africa, Iran or where ever the hell you please, but get the fuck out of the USA!!!!!! ARIGATO!

I can't help but keep posting here, I'm scared, real scared. Wake up AMERICA! If you buy one book this year, buy FLEECED by Dick Morris (personally I can't stand the guy) and please read it before the Nov. election's. The choice is yours, I made mine.
